Last night I had the honor of attending Opening Night for the award-winning @outsidersmusical at the historic @hollywoodpantagestheatre. @broadwayinhollywood
It was a true full-circle moment for me as a once-bullied kid growing up in Hawaii who loved musical theater and read my copy of S.E. Hinton’s The Outsiders so many times the book cover basically disintegrated over time. Back then, I so very much identified with Ponyboy’s earnestness and it was meaningful to return back to that place of innocence.
The show was beautiful and heartbreaking (much like the book) and encapsulated its anthem and invitation for us to all to stay gold. ✨
The Outsiders is running from now until October 18, 2026.
